Our Story
We’re a team led by Matt Preston and my partner in life and passion, Deborah. Sports have always been more than just a pastime for us and no doubt for you too; they are a way of life for many!
From the adrenaline-fueled races of Formula 1 to the heart-pounding moments of a football match, our lives have been a thrilling journey through the world of sports.
Our love story with sports took a turn when we realized a common frustration among fans like us: the challenge of finding reliable, real-world reviews of sports venues.
Born out of our living room discussions and bar debates over which grandstand offers the best Formula 1 race view, and our personal experiences at various sporting events across the globe, SitWhere is our solution to this very problem. It’s a straightforward concept driven by our no-nonsense approach to content – well-researched, detailed reviews of seating at the world’s most famous sporting venues.

We’ve been huge motorsport fans for many years, first getting into the sport back in the late 1980s. It wasn’t until 2006 on a trip to Japan that our got to experience my first Formula 1 race in person! Amazing memories!
We’re not just sports lovers we’re also travel lovers!
We’ve been sporting events across the world. Travelling to Singapore, Japan, Australia and Malaysia for Formula 1 races as well as Soccer matches in England, Aussie rules football in Melbourne and Sydney. Our team have been to American Football, games, Baseball, Cricket and MotoGP events too.
We all struggled with the same problem, trying to find the best place to sit for our budget and our preferences. We believe Sit Where offers helpful and honest reviews of grandstands and sporting perspectives.
We’re also accomplished travel bloggers, working in the industry since 2009 and have written for many publications, blogs and brands over the years.

What We Do
SitWhere is a community built on the foundation of trust and genuine love for sports. Our mission is simple: to bring you firsthand accounts of what it’s really like to be there – from the roar of engines at a Formula 1 circuit to the electrifying atmosphere of a soccer match.
We dive deep into each venue, exploring views, atmosphere, action, and value, to give you the real picture.
We give you all the details too. How far away the toilets are from an F1 circuit grandstand, how long it’ll take to walk there from the gates. Where the food is and most importantly is there any action on the track right in front of you?
As avid sports fans, especially of Formula 1, we understand the difference a seat makes in experiencing the sheer thrill of the race, the strategy unfolding on the track, and the pulse of the crowd cheering around you. This passion drives our commitment to not just any reviews, but human-written accounts from fans who’ve been there, seen it, and felt it.
We applied this template to many other sporting events too as we discovered people really needed to read this. With so many ticket websites just telling you very little about each grandstand, we wanted to give real world accounts of what it’s actually like to be there. With videos and images to help give you as much information as possible about what you’re paying for.
We work with some excellent brands to find you the best prices for tickets to sporting events too. There are many out there but it’s hard to know who to trust and who’s offering the right prices for grandstand seat tickets.
